Has anyone ever seen scales like this??

Post by sunburst »

I was just wondering if anyone has seen scales made of crocodile like this fixed blade Arno Bernard. I was tempted to pick it up but my money is heading toward somebody's pocket knife (once I find one)instead of a fixed blade. Besides it sold within 24 hours of being posted...

Just wondering???

Want a nice custom for under $100.00?

I was just looking through some older threads. Arno Bernard has a son and his name is Arno Bernard Jr (oddly enough  ). He started making knives in October 2005 and his work is starting to look excellent with his dad's tutalage. No guarantee, but if you are looking for a good custom from someone who is touted as a rising star, this may be the place to get it. He has an ebay store and he gets much less than his dad, now.

http://stores.ebay.com/knife-making-supplies is his eBay store, custom knives at a great price. Nothing fancy, but I've seen good solid craftmanship. ::tu::

He sells a lot of Giraffe bone, but I found that gray weathered Elk antlers can be dyed and stabilized for a neat look about the same price as the low end Giraffe bone. I think I started to post in Dewmans Elk antler thread, but never finished my thought. ::dang:: ::dang::
