I'm a fan of Bear knives and I just got my first fixed blade - a Zytel handled skinner. I really like the Blackie Collins look of the knife. From what I had read, I expected it to be something of a light duty knife , but when I got it I found it to be a real solid slab of steel. The handles are a bit squared off but still it fits my hand well. Always considering that Bears are not expensive knives, I am completely satisfied and happy with mine.

Not bad working knives- Fit & Finish not up to Case, Queen or GEC, but not bad knives at all. I carry a drop point hunter in stag and have been happy with it.
I cut my deck to the Queen of Spades, but the cards were all the same.

I have no experience with the fixed blades, but the folders are great. Best value for the money IMO, on a knife made in the USA! ::ds::
