Sodbusters

Post by muskrat man »

Here are some of my vintage German Eye Sodbusters. These were made by Carl Schlieper in Germany Prior to 1980, and imported to Austin, Texas by Forest Cruze, who it is said designed the first sodbuster in the 1950's, and schlieper was supposedly the first to produce one.

A Sodbuster just can't be beat for simplicity and practicality. I like 'em very much.
That is a nice selection,Kaleb!
I even like some of the fancy ones. There were some put out with brass bolsters and some with saw blades. 8)
