Requesting Prayer

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Requesting Prayer

Post by caddyman1973 »

I need to call on my good brothers again and request prayer for my dad again. He was scheduled to have a pacemaker put in on March 19. Doctors have been putting it off for about 5 or 6 weeks. The more time went by the worse his condition has gotten. Long story short, Mom and my brother (baliblaster) had to take him to the hospital this afternoon with heart failure. They admitted him and if all goes as planned, he will get his defribrilator\pacemaker put in Monday morning. His heart is working at way less than 50%. There is no guarantee that this will completely fix his problems, but we are praying and hoping that it does. If you could remember it, we would greatly appreciate your prayers in this situation.
Thanks again, Bill

Just an update. Dad had a pacemaker\defribrilator put in yesterday and everything went great! He was released from the hospital today and is home and doing good. A total of 5 liters of fluid had accumulated in his lungs and chest area. When he would lie down he would start suffocating. After that was gone he started feeling better. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and continue to pray that he can start to regain some of his active lifestyle. Thanks again, Bill
