I've got so many irons in the fire right now (pun slightly intended) that it's hard to get any one project through to completion. I've got 3 or 4 knives in pieces, a few fixed blade blanks ground to shape, I've been trying (and failing, I might add) to do some "coin mokume" with my 2 brick forge... all while being outsourced at work and adapting to my new company (going extremely well) and dealing with a rather unexpected kidney stone removal surgery (and subsequent misery).

So when I say this is the first knife from 2010 to reach completion, it's not that I've been slacking, it's that I've been to busy!

.045 6-4 titanium liners, redG10 underlay and aerospace carbon fiber (first time working with CF... miserable stuff)... Yes indeed, it's another GEC Ultralight V2!









It's a bit thicker than usual, I really should have thinned down the G10 a bit more than I did, but the gent who is taking possession of it has giant meathooks for hands, so he's not bothered by it. It's still lighter than it's original mule

Sharp looking knife. I've been thinking about rehandling a SAK in CF but after your comment I think I'll reconsider. I empathize with the kidney stone. I had to have one cut out back in the 80's. Worse pain than getting shot.
