Linerlock Camillus TL-29 Desert Ironwood Conversion

Post by orvet »

Here is a Camillus TL-29 NOS, that I converted to a single blade linerlock with desert ironwood scales.
Some simple rope filework on the backspring completes the new look.
It will be on it's way to Oz in a few days, as soon as I finish the restoration work on it's buddy, a Schrade Cut Co ebony jack.

Nice filework! looks awesome - a lot of times filework can be over-bearing on a knife but that fits perfect. Great job.

Real nice, Dale!

Okay, now I'm jealous, cause I have a project just like that which I can't seem to get around to finishing. Looks like I'm going to have to motivate myself to get it done.

Thanks for the nudge.

Sweet looking knife Dale! It should hold up well too....they don't call it Ironwood for nothing. And I'll give you one of the favorite compliments I sometimes get on my filework....Simple and elegant. Overall, a real winner going to some lucky person.
