All About Pocket Knives

Here is a Knife, one of my friends bought at an Estate sell. I really wish someone here could tell me about it. Is it a Switchblade?? I can't get the blades to spring out when I push the button?? I guess it might be broke. The small latches I guess lock and unlease the blade, Is that right?? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Yes indeed you have a Schrade switch blade!
Someone who knows the switchblades will be along and can probably give you a model number.
