Just a little 3 3/8" wharnie jack I'm working on for a customer

What's the plan for bolsters, nail nick, scales, looking good.

I think it's always cool to post pictures like this. Most folks have never seen the progression of a custom knife build.


Going to a factory and watching 50 ton presses punch out blades is cool too, but not the same! The personal touch gets lost somewhere between the press and the CNC blade grinders.

I had to swap the nickel liners out for thicker brass ones, the nickel was too thin and buckling (as you can see in pics). Thing has a hefty backspring definately an 8 or better. Scales are going to be rams horn as requested and no bolsters, this is going to be a shadow jack with a short nail nick. Jury is still out on blade grind I think a sabre with a deep cut swedge would look awesome. But it's not my knife
