GEC Bottle Openers

Post by Wilder »

I received one of the stag GEC bottle openers today and it is definitely a keeper.
Really nice deepline stag and an extremely well-made product.
Solid, attractive, and functional!
I love it!
There are still plenty of bottles out there that don't have screw-off caps, especially imported beers and those wonderful 8oz. Cokes.

Anybody else got one yet?

I tried to get a price from them but I had to register. I did that but the password they gave me was unbelievable. I could not get it to work. It was something like this eE1736ElLe&lB. I couldn't get it to work. TO MANY GEEKS!!

Thanks for the heads up on "Old Hundred."
I haven't checked his store for a while and as a result of your
message here I did some shopping and bought this toothpick:

This my not be a real popular post, but I gotta say it …

I am more than a little disappointed at the price point GEC brought these bottle openers out at.

You fellas know I'm not shy about ponyin' up for a good knife, but I just can't see the justification for chargin' that much for a bottle opener. Stag or not ...

Just my .02 …

Sorta, reminds me of another story ::dang:: ___back in 1989, I helped the owner, open,a brand new "'Western Auto"' store**__with the franchise, stores, they shipped, all stores, a pre-set inventory___you took it all, and, could return, some (slowly--very slowly) to them, that did not sell,in your area. Well, there was a dozen of the old, oil can, punch type openers, with the pour spout_________we got 400 cases of oil_________ all,in plastic twist off bottles    ______oil had not been in cans, since the early eightys ::dang:: ::dang::
