is there a way to take surface etchings off a blade without making it seem obvious?

Yep - just takes elbow grease - get some wet or dry - use it wet - use a sanding block - change paper often & get it wet - might be able to start with 400 then 600 then? Depends how deep the etch is & how much work you want to put into it - - after getting the steel ground down you can either leave it or buff & polish - then do the other side to match - normally it's more work than most guys want to do & to costly to pay a professional to do - but it can be done - tomchetr1200c wrote:is there a way to take surface etchings off a blade without making it seem obvious?
