a Great Grandaddy of the 2OT

Just got this off ebay, I went a little off my conventional wisdom to get it. The photos in the listing were not very good. The mark side photo was out of focus a bit. But the pile side photo was in focus and you could make out the arched Schrade Cut Co stamp on the bottom bolster. Both images did not show the tip of the main blade. You could not make out the tang stamps on the blades. So I rolled the dice at the last few seconds having been shut out on some beauties in the past. I guessed right and won the auction on my max bid by 2 dollars. So here it is in all it's glory and I couldn't be more pleased!
I'll be sitting out some online auctions for a while but I'm fine with that.

Great knife. I like this pattern with the spear blade. First time I've seen that stamp down on the cap. Very nice.

What a great old knife. I watched that auction for a while but never noticed the stamped bolsters. I guess I better have my prescription checked.

Here are some close-ups of the tang and cap bolster stamps. There is no pattern number on the blades, I'll call it a 2203. Very early Schrade Cut Co with pick bone and hammered pins.

This one is not in the same league as the Granddaddy of the 2OT, but I think it is the 2OT’s first cousin.
