2 knives
Here are 2 Remington knives I got with some other things. The knife with green scales is decent but has a broken backspring on the master blade. Is it possible to find another backspring on another knife and replace this or are these backpsprings specific to a certain knife brand and style? The old soldier at the bottom has seen a lot of use. The picture should enlarge on these.

Re: 2 knives
The backspring should not be too hard to find. It will need to come from a Remington of the 1920-1940 range, of the same style and pattern if you want it to work perfectly with no metal work.
However a backspring can be made from a blank piece of steel if you are skilled in metal work and tempering.
Glad to see these Remingtons.
