Looking for info

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

Worth whatever you or anyone else is willing to pay for it.

Tom, I say the same thing! I agree with you 110%

Only I got slamed from a member or two (whom I wont mention) back a few months for giving the EXACT same answer.
I think its a honest to the point answer. ;)

Pictures please and a brief description of the condition.

Saw a Queen #9 Stockman with yellow handles on eBay go for $40 but it looked like it was in perfect condition. If not in perfect condition, it probably would have gone for maybe $10 - $20. I'm guessing here but probably more towards the lower end of that.

Well Jerry, value is in the eye of the beholder. Book prices don't mean a thing. The only really good value reference is to see what they are selling for at present. One thing that Ebay is really good for.

Exactly the thrust of my post Tom. I only have one book, seldom use it and I don't remember if it has values in it. If I have a question about what they're going for, I check eBay history. I like Queen knives so I've paid attention when they come up for sale. I'm no expert by a long shot but I do consider myself an informed amateur.

I guess I should have directed this post to Gino. If I could read that's exactly what I would have done. (I can write readin' but can't read writin') ::facepalm:: Sorry Gino. By the way, I've been slammed more than once for quoting published sources.

Outlaw358 looks new here in AAPK to me.

For that reason you old ones could add nice words so he does not think we are like some other knife site and have bullies banging around. Thats my only point.

Well I guess not ::dang::

I think you bought that knife last so that is what it is worth now.
Until you find some one that wants to pay you more for it.

If your wanting a value to insure it on your home owners policy. make it higher...

Well again are you looking at it to show her off?
Wanting to use her?
Wanting to sell her for a profit?

$20.00 is a low price to pay for a Queens stockman in good shape.

Photos would help us a lot

Good photo and good knife.

But I think there is a place to put knives that you want to sell or trade.
