Early 19TH Century Hand Wrought Steel Garnishing Knife

Post by Draac »

I saw this odd knife and picked it up for $9.99. It's old and odd (like me..:), just wanted to post it for all to see this weird shaped knife.

Description: Early 19th Century hand wrought steel garnishing knife. It has a finely crafted 4" garnishing blade. The 3 3/4" wooden handle carries a lovely aged patina. This came out of a local PA estate of primitive antiques.

Draac,
that is a great looking knife. I really like the blade, but the handle is really nice too. And a tapered tang.
Easily worth $10.

Very nice. It's a carrot knife. Makes crinkle-cut rounds. :) s-k
