schrade cards

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Johnnie,
I have a pack I bought on ebay.

IIRC, I saw picture of the cards with with a knife, a promo package deal. I am not sure of the age, but if I had to guess I would say late 1990s (but that is a guess).

LT may know when they were made & how they were merchandise.

I've got a pack of those cards. Mine came in a blister pack with a Old Timer 340TCPC. The date on the back of the pack says 1995. I recevied this as a Christmas present over 10 years ago and have never opened it.
