Camillus #68 customized to an easy opener

Post by orvet »

Here is another knife I made for the OKCA show or for my AAPK store.

It was a worn Camillus #68 Premium Stock knife. It had a clip & spey blades and a spiral punch. All blades were badly worn, but I happened to have a new clip blade for the #68. So I made it a single blade easy opener and I replaced the Delrin with red jigged bone.

Now it has a full blade and great snap. With the easy open notch and the high arch of the swedge ground clip it should be easy to open even when wearing gloves.

It is fun for me to make these easy openers, since I really like an easy opener.

Thanks guys.
An EO or a single blade as pretty easy to do when you get an old knife with worn down secondary blades or bad handles.
Sometimes that is about the only thing you can do with some knives.

EOs are popular, fun to make and even more fun to carry; I have a few in my EDC pile.
