Kershaw Leek Black Scores a Perfect 10.0!

Kershaw began its foray into the knife business sometime during 1974. The company was originally based in Portland Oregon, but most early knives were manufactured in Japan. The first US manufacturing plant was opened in 1997 & the company currently offers knives made in the U.S., Japan, & China. Pete Kershaw (an ex Gerber salesman) started the business.

Scott, you listed in the specs in your review that the Leek is a frame lock. I have three Leeks and they are all liner locks. Is the frame lock something new or are there different versions made and I just happened to get all liner locks?

You are right about the Leek, it's a fantastic knife. I recommend it at any given opportunity.

Yeah, Jerry.....I just lifted mine off my pocket and sure enough....it's a frame lock. Maybe it's new.

Ok bro, will do. I'll make a note to ask for one.

They're sending me a Kershaw Blur to review next!
