Some help with these????

Post by zp4ja »

Would someone be interested in rehandling 2 CASE XX 4257's? Office knife.

Only made in TESTED and XX eras and only in white composition handles. About 100 bucks if they were mint. Blades and springs etc are in great shape. Handles shrunk and cracked. Actually would like to put some bone, stag or MOP on one of them to EDC. Does Case rehandle a knife like this in original handle at no charge (would consider on one of the 2 knives)? Plan on keeping them not to resell but if I did, I would disclose rehandle work. Please let me know if someone is interested.

The frame measures 3-3/4" by about 9/16" wide.

Please let me know. Thanks, Jerry

The factory will rehandle using white delrin to replace the white celluloid.
