CRKT Classic Slip Joints

Post by jerryd6818 »

Since Columbia River just recently released these, I didn't know if anyone was aware they made (contract through China) a traditional slip joint.

You can find them here, mixed in among the other slip joints: http://www.crkt.com/traditionalpocketknives

Here's the whittler.

Well sugar. I looked to see if there was already a thread on the subject but I only looked in this forum. I need to think outside the box (forum). Either that or be more thorough with my research. Fudge. Frogs, Fiddlesticks.

Hey Mods. Please feel free to delete this thread.

I have the Stockman and apart from the fact that a couple of the pin heads are a little proud it's as good as any of the better quality Chinese-made traditional folders I've seen and used.

I've looked and can't find a steel type other than 'surgical'.
???

I like the toothpick but I'm not paying thirty dollars for 'surgical' which i suspect is J2.
