A good custom knife project takes many hours work and dedication. This knife is going through some common stages toward that goal. First is to "loosen" those stubborn handle nuts which seem to be "frozen". Next an 1/2" impact drill wit a "slotted" screwdriver bit and penetrating oil got the nut and bolts to spin so they then could be turned off completely by hand. A blade blank then chosen to be grinded to fit in the handle slot.
