What do you use to seal white bone

I was thinking of trying to rehandle a scout knife with white cow bone .
What do you use to seal white cow bone to stop it from staining .

If you look through the old posts you can find they use Wood Hardener by Minwax to stabilize bone. They sell this at Lowe's and it is used for rotten wooden window frames and the like to firm up the surface and then finish with wood filler. I did buy some of this but haven't tried it yet.

When I do work with white bone, and want it to stay white, I peroxide it to bleach it, then seal with thinned ACC ("superglue"). Been doing it that way since the '80s, and the stuff I made then is still white.

Even the knife that accidentally spent the night in the parts washer. . . .

Grant, I use a thin CA glue to seal bone & ivory before sanding it.
If you sand it down too far, you may need to seal it again to prevent abrasive grit or rouge from getting into the pores.
