I paid $100 bucks for this "S" stamped knife at an estate sale and just found out it was made between 1956 and 1958(http://rhruana.com/Facts/KnifeStamps/ta ... fault.aspx). I think I undervalued the knife. Since Mr. Ruana probably hand-forged this knife himself, I'm thinking the value could shoot well over $1000.
