Schrade Cut Co Uncle Henry Knives

recently aquired two S.C.C. Uncle Henry folders, 886UH & 898UH
Until a while ago I had never seen the Schrade Cut variety of Uncle Henry
knives, pic shows two other for comparison 885UH & 897UH.

According to the info I have, Knife World vol. 30 no. 6, June 2004, in an article by B K Brooks, the tang stamp of S.C.C.+ was used from 1973 through to the closing in 2004.

EXAMPLE:
S.C.C.+
USA 898 UH

The Cut Co tang stamps were not used after 1946, according to the article. That is not to say that there weren't a few that slipped through in the late 1940's, but I believe all the Cut Co tang stamps were long gone before Schrade Walden produced their first Uncle Henry.

LT will know when the first Uncle Henry's were produced, but, IIRC, it was the early 1960's.

None the less, the SCC+ tang stamps are not real common, from what I have seen. But it was used by Imperial Schrade, not by Schrade Cut Co.

Thanks for the info orvet, I did figure that they were not from the Cut Co era as they do look to much like the recent Uncle Henry knives, glad I got them though to add to the collection.
