Schrade + SC504 .. .. ?

Found this one on the 'bay a few days ago. Actually took some time and 'researched' here on AAPK before posting.
Could not find a reference in Mr. Dale's Schrade library, or a general search through the forums.

Looks like a gussied-up 51OT to me. Thought it was a re-handle but for the tang.
Thoughts .. .. .. (other than me being a dumba**) ???

If you go to Collectors of Schrade you will find a picture of one in the Old Timer section. Ths SC stands for Scrimshaw.Some of the knives did not have a Scrimshaw on them just plain handles.
