Big Daddy Barlow RB1242

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

Big Daddy Barlow RB1242

Post by Capt. Farrel »

Well, I don´t know much about Remingtons but man do they looked nice to me! It took me a while but now as the first two arrived I am happy that I pulled the trigger. I love Barlows as the next guy so a Big Daddy was to be the first Remington. What´s there more to say? The main blade is so nice and sleek and the silver bullet is the icing on the cake! This one came with the box and papers.

Cap'n, I'm not much of a barlow fan, but that is one sweet knife!
