Customized trappers.

Post by btrwtr »

Here are two, two blade trappers that I worked for a friend. I removed the spay blades and file worked the back springs and blades. I have been doing quite a few of these for him. Always one bladed trappers.

Thanks for the compliments.

My friend sells these at work. He and his coworkers like the slim profile and the long clip blades but aren't fond of the bulk of a 2 blade trapper. Seems there aren't many single blade trapper frame knives out there so I have been removing the spay blades. I have done some of the 1979 NKCA, Case 5154 stag single blades and they are easier since I don't have to completely disassemble the knives. I can just remove the center pin and pivot the spring out from the frame to do the file work.

He doesn't mark the knives up past the cost of my work and it helps sell the knives since they are unique.
