Resurrection-44ot

Post by Schradenut »

I was lucky enough to acquire a 44ot from a friend/dealer in Ohio. The knife was mint in all departments, with the exception of a very noticeable pin crack.
It seems a shame that such a beautiful, quite rare knife, would always be a second rate knife in any collection.
With this in mind i asked him to send it to Herman Williams in Marion, North Carolina, for him to fit a set of his magnificent red/brown Stag handles.
Herman completed the task for me, and i now have it with me in Oz. He did an amazing job on it, as you can see in the attached pics. The scales are beautifully balanced, which is most important to me.
After all that effort, i now have an incredibly good 44ot.
Tony.
