A friend of mine in Idaho has sent me some pics of this wonderful knife he has just purchased.
It is an absolute corker, and one i have never seen before.
It is etched in Gold "Passing the Torch, Special Edition, 3 of 12", with the NRA American Eagle in his awesome strike pose. This is one very expensive knife, and to have only made 12, indicates to me that they must have been struck for a very special occasion, for a very select group of men, or organisations.
I would appreciate it if any of you knife guys, can shed some light on the history of this exquisite knife. My friend in Idaho would be most grateful to learn the history of this fine knife, that he knows little about.
Tony.

Now that's a knife! (sorry, couldn't resist)
No help here, perhaps a fundraiser type deal for the NRA

A 'corker' translates roughly as very good. A 'bloody corker' means extremely good.
I liked your reference to Crocodile Dundee LOL.

From what I know Schrade made a few knives with Etched blades for different customers. You will see a odd one one Ebay .These knives on had the tang stamp etched on the blade could have wood or stag handles.
You will see a odd one turn up on Ebay with wood handle no etch and no tang stamp.I purchased one a while back.
