Schrade Old Timer 8OT LINE UP

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Schrade Old Timer 8OT LINE UP

Here is a line up of Schrade Old Timers 8OT's I have collected.( I have a few more with 8Ot on the blades but no Old Timer shield )
I have lined them up in the order I think they where made ( not sure )
From left to right
In the second picture.
Fourth from bottom.Different main blade no 8OT on blade
Sixth from the bottom Schrade NY USA and the 8OT on the other side of blade like Schrade Walden.
Not the first two Schrade NY USA have match stick pulls.Iincluded Yellow handle one no shield
In the third picture the top knife is stainless.No 8OT stamped on blade.

Nice collection, nice variety - gonna take a couple of lifetimes to use up all those great old knives! OH
