Queen Drake Well Barlow

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

Queen Drake Well Barlow

Post by JohnR »

Picked this one up the other day, Queen 50th Anniversary Barlow. From what I can find they came out in 1972, blade is etched Drake Well. Really pretty bone and an unusual bolster shape, slightly larger than your average Barlow.
I found reference to 3600 being made but I don't see a whole lot of them out there, seems they would be easier to find.

JohnR, I had a friend that used to have one of these. His came in a soft pouch, and a wooden box. Sweet little knives indeed!
