Info Needed - SAMPSON > Queen ?

Picked this up at a local auction and am looking for info on this knife; Marked SAMPSON, TITUSVILLE...was this made by Queen?

Fred Sampson started working at Queen Cutlery in 1948, starting as a laborer and then working his way through all of the various departments. He achieved the position of Master Cutlery in 1972, a position he held until he retired in 1985.

So, is this knife made by Queen as a tribute? Or made by Sampson after leaving Queen? Or something else?
