This is an actual ad placed in the "Lost and Found" section of the little local newspaper where I live in the mountains of Central Idaho.

LOST

"Nona Ownby had a cow escape from her yard on Hwy. 21 down by Robie Creek. One black cow with a half white face. It has a fresh brand that is a triangle with a D in the middle of the triangle. Call 343-0880."


You just gotta' love these little rural outposts in America. :)
