Canoe Questions?

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Canoe Questions?

Post by casexxpoorman »

I picked this knife up Saturday for $40. It is in excellent shape. It has a pearl or abalone shield and CV Blades. I know its a 1999 Canoe with the blade etch. The shield is puzzling me, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all! ::dang::

I don't know the answer and look forward to learning what it is. For the last year I've been eyeing a red bone handled 6254 Trapper made in 1999 that has a pearl shield - other than the shield it is a typical Case Trapper. If he ever drops the price to a reasonable level (it's priced at $60) I would buy it for the shield. OH
