Not Knives- Just Manufacturing Tang Stamps

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Not Knives- Just Manufacturing Tang Stamps

Post by Chase »

I recently acquired some fantastic Tang Stamps :

Schrade Walden NY USA
Schrade Makers Mark
Schrade Walden C641
Old Timer
Belknap Barlow
Stainless Steel
Ducks Unlimited Duck Head
Scrim Shaw Owl Stamp
Naked Lady Cover Stamp/mold used for the Sterling Silver Covers
Stainless by Imperial USA
Ulster 10 OT
Ulster 12 OT
Ulster 208
Stamp to make the French Nail Nick (Like the one used for the Older 8 OTs)

These are some of my prized additions for the Schrade Cave! As soon as I am able to figure out the right way to photograph them, I will post pictures.

Tom, could you heat them and stamp a decorative board with all of them, to hang in your cave?
