These are excellent carry knives, with a 4" blade and a 4.9" Aircraft Aluminum handle. A slim handle profile with a weight of 3.6 ounces and tight pocket clip make it handle well, blade lock at the top of the handle and good jimping on the blade, make the AUS-8 blade a good choice for heavy-duty use.

Blade HQ is selling these (shipped to your door) for $119.95. The reviews I had read inspired me to "pull the trigger" on my purchase. You may want to look into one. You'll be glad that you did. ::super_happy:: ::ds::

Don't miss out.

I brought home the SOG Spec Elite II auto and it's better than I had hoped. The AUS-8 steel blade came "shaving sharp" out of the box and snaps out with the authority of a Marine DI! ::tu:: The 6061-T6 anodized aluminum handle is slim and virtually disappears in my slacks pocket and the knife is is all of 3.6 ounces, making it comfortable enough to carry all day without feeling as if your packing a can of Pringles potato chips in your pants. ::doh::
SOG really "did their homework" with this auto. It is a real winner! ::tu:: It doesn't rattle, so the knife maintains a low profile. That's important when it comes to packing an EDC/Tactical knife. This knife does everything and does it well. I can, without reservation, recommend this knife to anyone that can legally carry an automatic knife. It is an excellent value for the money

It takes quite a bit to impress me, but SOG has done it, and for less than you'd think!
