Case 087 letters at end of pattern stamp
I have a Case 087 stockman made between 1940~1964. It has two letters at the end of the pattern number the first letter appears to be a "P" or "F' the second letter is a "E". I sent the info to Case college and they were not much help, they did say it was most likely made during WWII. Any help will be appreciated.

The letters after a Case pattern number indicate the types of secondary blades on the knife. P is for spey and E is for pen. An H would indicate sheepsfoot.
