Horse shoe
This two blade horse shoe is possibly a cigar knife? Ambassador Co. circa 1960? Not finding much about the brand, thanks for any information. Bob

Re: Horse shoe
It is a variation on the coin knife that was originally made out of an old French coin by splitting it in half and installing the blades in between the two sides and putting it back together. Imperial made a bunch of them with advertising on them as did Colonial who were both in Providence Rhode Island.Ambassador was a stamp used by Colonial according to Goins. Here is a group of them. As an aside the old French ones were mostly made by Eloi Pernet and are pretty valuable.
