swiss army type knife handle material and worth # 775

opener. The tang is engraved on separate lines GT and CHINA. The handles are red plastic or bakelite. The
chrome has surface rust and/or surface scratches. Made in China. Comes in a black belt loop nylon case

I have a couple questions about this knife as follows:
Is the handles made of plastic, bakelite or etc.?
What do you think this knife is worth?

The handles are made of cheap plastic. Bakelite has not been used in years, not since the invention of dimensionally stable plastics like Dupont Delrin. The problem with the plastic handles on those cheap Chinese SAK type knives is they are not dimensionally stable they tend to shrink and twist. That is why you find so many of them with missing handles or lose handles.

Value: very little. You might sell it at a flea market for $0.50, you probably wouldn't even get that out of it at a Knife Show.
Forget trying to sell it on eBay. You can ship a knife about that size first class mail for about $2.50 which is five or six times what that knife is worth. So selling on eBay is not a viable option.
