Inherited a number of switchblades! Any information is appreciated!

Post by Tolch123 »

Hello Folks,

I inherited a number of knives, many of which are switchblades. Admittedly, I don't know a whole lot about knives, and I'm hoping you can help me with some basic information about them. I'm most likely going to sell them and make a donation with the proceeds, so I'm also very interested to get an idea of the values of these guys.

Any input is much appreciated!

Thank you!

I'll let others that know more give you more detailed information. Those look like fairly modern manufactured knives. The top is a Benchmade, which is one of the best known of the US premier brands of modern tactical knives. Boker & Hubertus are also well-known makers of knives that are still in business today and making traditional leverlock automatic knives. The last one I can't identify. I would guess it may be a knife made in Pakistan or China that was customized with file work by "D. Dill" whoever that is.

I would guess the first 3 knives might still be currently available from retailers.

Or, I could be completely wrong... ::facepalm::

Added: Here is the Benchmade. I'm not sure what the "006/100" on your blade means. Maybe from the first-run release?

The D. Dill knife isn't Pakistan. David is out of Arizona and New was probably a $600 knife.

The Boker should bring on retail about $ 185.00 . The Hubertus Retail $145.00 . Nice Knives
