Normally I don't buy broken knives but I thought this old 3 blade Maher&Grosh has such great looks that I could not resist. Teardrop with spey, spear and hawkbill blades, the spring is broken on the spey. Would love to find one of these is very good condition but this one will do for now.
Roger, do you know what this one is called, I would think something like Farmers Friend.

Re: Old 3 Blade
Here you are John. From catalog 32 ca.1910.It was called "Maher's Common Sense Knife ".They carried the pattern for many years. They had another 3 blade utility with a large sheepsfoot instead of the hawksbill and called it "The Mechanics Own".

Thank you Woodly and Bill. Thank you Roger for the original catalog scan, looks like it was marketed as a garden knife with a pruning and budding blade which I thought was a spey.
