Picked Up A Nice Group Of Unions and Kabars

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

That's a great bunch of knives! Those dogs head shields are really neat. ::tu:: Did you get them all at the same time?

That is a great bunch to acquire in one group. Hobos are a great pattern.

I like those hobo's too and did you ever score big time with that group. Don't see an abused knife in the bunch. :D ::tu:: ::tu:: :D

Tune, that is one dang big bunch to get together!! Here's most of my Union/KA-BAR hobos that have taken me years to accumulate. I think the big doggie hobo with the spoon is the second hardest dog to find behind the switchblade. It took me many years to find a real nice one. The top regular size one is a rare stainless version and so etched and has an original special sized knife purse it came in. Purse sadly is unmarked but definitely original. Amazing you got to get so many at once!!

Thanks for all the kind comments guys. I am new here, but have been collecting Randalls for years. I have become a folder accumulator over the years.

Gun, Love that Dog with a spoon...... great collection.

Here are two shots (bad light) with them spread out.

Very nice!! Looks like you have a service for six down at the hobo jungle. Of course a couple of the spoons may need to be shared.

Welcome aboard Mitchell ::handshake::

Great instant hobo collection! Like Gene said it would take you many years to assemble a collection like that if you were looking for them individually ::tu::
