Tested

Is it legit? I noticed that the stag on the back doesn't meet the bolster on one side like the case knives of old. This was in a great era and what little I have seen definitely meet the bolster tightly. It's stag, not celluloid that shrinks. The blades are perfect, with no patina. The shield is tricky, because the diamond shape is definitely associated with old and I'm not knowledgeable enough to know about the details of those particular shields. The tail of the C looks to go past the end of the E, but is that even significant? I question all of this because I like the knife and he/she has more that are unquestionably legitimate.

You are quite welcome. That is a nice knife, and almost impossible to find in that nice of condition.
