Jeremy R Turner knife OMG

Post by zed6309 »

I was extremely lucky to win this knife in the August draw, from the images I could see it was a awesome looking knife ,but when I got it in my hand I was blown away by it's build quality  this had to be the most beautiful knife I own ,attention to detail is incredible, from the sweeping blade to the elagant brass guard to the amazing handle , the other thing in getting this knife is I've read a lot about William scagel who this knife is a homage to ,I never knew about scagel before and he was a interesting man ,I can only thank Jeremy again for donating this knife to the GAW as it must of taken him ages to make ,it's now a treasure if mine and is a family heirloom ::tu::

Thank you Jeremy

Regards
Paul

Paul - that beautiful knife has more air miles on it than the swallows of Capistrano - thanks for sharing your excitement and pictures. When (and if) you have a chance to put her into action as a skinner please be sure to share those pictures too!

What a great knife Paul! Is that rainbow in the first photo just a lighting effect? Was that a fluke or did you deliberately play with the lighting and knife angle? Regardless, it sure look cool!

IMO it's worth posting in the "Knife Photography" thread with maybe a bit of explanation of how you pulled it off.

Paul, congratulations on winning that beautiful knife.
That is quite creative the way the guard splays out all around to keep you off the blade.

Well Mountain Man you sure do fine work. Like the blade and the little bet of antler to cap it off. ::tu::

What is the average price range for a Jeremy Ray Turner knife? Who sells them retail? Does he still make knives? etc etc
