Camillus 53

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Here is the little Camillus 53 that Jerry mentioned the other day. Great little knife, snap better than ebay seller described. Some blade loss but really a pretty knice little knife. Thanks Jerryd for the explanation and the heads up.

Well Floyd, unless they start popping up all over the place, you have one of less than a handful that I've seen.

..sounds like you may be in some bad company, Floyd!!....right now, I either carry that #53 or an old worn out sleeveboard whittler that greg sent me!!........love 'em both!!!......... ::tu:: ................
