12 month statistics

Would it be possible or prudent to change the 12 month statistics in the seller dashboard to a yearly statistic beginning Jan 1st to Dec 31 of any given year? This would make it easier for sellers to keep track of their yearly talleys for tax purposes. Does anyone else think this would be bennificial.
