How old is this Henckel?

I picked this up an estate sale a while back. I don't know how old it is I was hoping somebody might know something about it and roughly the age.
Obviously it was made in 1904 or later, probably later but how much?
I thought it was a good buy for two dollars!

But a good question as to age, that has also occurred to me after buying a massive (14-inch) Henckels, with the same deep-stamped reference to Saint Louis.

The handle on yours and mine is in the pre-WW I style, but mine is so absurdly pristine I suspect it is of quite recent issue. Maybe Henkels had some "nostalgia" production in recent years.

In short, I don't have an answer for you, but I too have been wondering about it. Could it be that there are folks at modern-day Henckels that are as moved as we are by "Knife Lore"?

A bit late to this thread as I just joined; with that style handle, often called "nogent", I'd date that to 1930-1950. Just an educated guess.

Made circa 1900 and sold for 2 dollars. You should increase the price of the knife because its lifespan is also about 100 years old.
