Schrade Walden Slenderino Help!

I just picked up this minty SW 3-9/16" stockman, with some unusual characteristics, and I wonder if it isn't a club knife. My first question in perusing the catalogs is: What's the difference between an 825 and an 895? Same size and looks the same in the catalogs. This knife has jigged bone handles, threaded bolsters, and the heraldic shield usually found on whittlers, not the normal stockman badge shield. It also has a serial number 106 on the front bolster. Blades seem to be stainless, and the only tang stamp is the one on the clip main, the 1954-'73 stamp. F&F and W&T are top notch. Any info will be greatly appreciated!

I am thinking that it is one of the cigar box issues from the (1990s?). Aside from that, the 895 is not stainless.

I wish they had never stopped using bone as standard but on the bright side they did have some particularly nice bone limited editions and the delrin knives are the perfect working man's rugged no frills knife.

It is odd though that somehow bone gives a certain 'quality' that we find pleasing. Even the best jigged Delrin does not give a knife the same feeling.
Hard to explain what exactly this pleasing quality of bone is but i am sure all knife collectors have had the same experience when comparing a bone handled knife with a Delrin handled knife.

Very true, kj, but I'm still inexplicably drawn to well done stag jigged Delrin, aka Staglon.
