All About Pocket Knives

Any help would be so much appreciated. I know these are tricky so just looking to get a round about idea of time period.

I'd love the idea of leaving the knife patina the way it is but sharpening it with my KME sharpening system and trying to add this to my working knife rotation. I really do appreciate it's blade shape.

Wayne, forget that chart you get that info from. If that were so why do all the WW2 Ulster "mountain troops" knives and other WW2 Ulster knives made for the military all carry the old mark as does the OP knife? I am a firm believer that Albert Baer did not change the Ulster mark until after the war. Just like Case Tested, all the Case folding knives made for the military during WW2 carry the tested mark, so tested did not end in 1940.

Many folks seem to think that when Baer bought Ulster in 1941 the tang mark changed to Ulster USA as post WW2 knives are marked but as I stated all the bone handled Ulster folding knives made for the military during the war seem to carry the older mark as your shows. The earliest mark will have Ulster Dwight Devine and/or Ulster Ellenville NY on the tang.
