found this tiny beauty this AM

The first Robeson knives were imported by Millard Robeson from England and Germany exclusively. This continued from 1979 until 1896 when Robeson began manufacturing knives in the United States. Since inception, the company has gone through several reorganizations & eventually ended up as a Queen Cutlery brand.

found this tiny beauty this AM

Post by Gunsil »

Not really my thing but I was at a small indoor flea this morning and saw this tiny pearl swell center pen. Opened it up and saw the RC over CO early Robeson mark and it's mint condition so I went for it. A lot of folks don't seem to care for tiny pen knives, but this one is a beauty in my eyes. Gotta click on photos to get them horizontal.

Beautiful little knives at 1 7/8” long.

I have had two of these. My current one is mint, as well.

Have to wonder who they were targeting with that one.

A really nice find Gene and such great condition. If you ever decide to part with it let me know as I’d love to add it to my miniatures collection.

Well, that is a little sweety.
You have to draw the line somewhere but that it's a Robeson I would chase it for the brand and the pearl.
Simply finding a Robeson of that size is a bit of Providence I could not ignore. A true knife in such a small size.

They are out there, as I've had two.

Neither had a stamped pattern number, I suspect because there was no room for a five or six digit stamp.

Still have this one.

Great find. Nothing like that shows up at the fleamarkets down here in central Texas.

Both of the ones I've had were found at major knife shows.

I wish I had gotten them for flea market prices.
