Muskrat, I'm curious if your first knife is for kitchen use because, depending on length, it looks like it could be a fighting Bowie. Either way, I like it.

It's a 7" blade, hand forged 5160, tapered tang, aged elk stag handles and hand hammered copper pins. More of a frontiersman / longhunter type knife. It will get a brass tacked sheath at some point

Great work MM.
The frontier knife is fantastic. Springfield leather has some copper rivets and hardware to match those copper pins.
Also like the washers peened on the outside of the friction folder. . Much more forgiving to work with than bone. I have also started putting washers on the inside of the liners. Seems to give the blade a more consistent, smooth action when using non traditional, non smooth liners.
